The view is decent however, it is not an easy hike toward the end for young kids and elderly especially. Although not as difficult as some other hikes I've done it is alot more daunting than it is made out to be and overall the view is not as worth it as many of the other hikes that are out near lake Louise, or even Rawson lake for example.

One of my favourite hikes of all time. Hiked this one in August, started late around 4 pm. We were the last people to be on the trail as a few other hikers passed us heading back the other way. The hike has one particular steep section, otherwise for experienced hikers, this one is a breeze. The views were excellent (let my photos speak for themselves), and we got to experience the lakes without any other hikers which made the experience so much more special than some of the more popular hikes in the area.

Wonderful little hike along a chain of for lakes, with a small campground area as well. Hike is about 11km from trailhead to the fourth lake and back again. Only one rather steep segment as you approach the first lake, but it's all worth it.

    Good hiking route for starters.
